PIT Kitchen is run by Adam and George — two long-time mates with a shared love of big flavours, good people, and cooking outdoors.

The idea started with Adam. After years living in Dalston and soaking up the energy of East London’s food scene, he came to the Cotswolds with a plan — to bring bold, open-fire cooking to a countryside setting. He teamed up with his brother James, and together they got things going in a roadside field just outside Chipping Norton.

From day one, George was on board to lead the food. A professional chef with a background in fine dining and food development for some of the UK’s best known restaurants and food brands, he helped shape the kitchen and menus from the ground up — bringing a relaxed but delicious edge to everything we serve.

Since then, PIT has grown into a seasonal fixture and moved to a large site at Todenham Farm near Moreton-in-Marsh — known for its vibrant, Middle Eastern-inspired flavours, laid-back vibe, and open-air setting.

Adam has built a brilliant team and a culture that’s as important as the food itself — warm, inclusive, and fun. Our kitchen teams are the heart of what we do, and none of this would happen without them

Things are growing, but the heart stays the same — mates, flames, and food that brings people together.
